Seahorses and companions are usually shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Sometimes due to conditions beyond our control (heavy rain or winds, rough seas in the collecting area or bad weather in your area) shipment of your order may be delayed two to four weeks. Your live specimens are shipped by Priority Mail and your mail carrier will deliver them to your address with your regular mail delivery. In any extreme temperatures (cold or hot), please make sure that your package of live seahorses is not left in your mailbox. Please advise your mail carrier that you are expecting a delivery of live seahorses, and make arrangements to personally receive your shipment. Depending on destination, your specimens may be in transit 2 to 3 days for most U.S. Mainland cities, express only for Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico. (Seahorses are provided with enough oxygen in their bags for up to 8 days in transit.) NOTE: We are not responsible for delays in postal service.
